Asked to Consult to the United Nations Again
”Given his recognized expertise on the subject”, Kyle was invited by the UN to present on the 19th November 2013 at the UN Headquarters in New York.
Kyle presented on the solutions he had implemented for many countries on the track and trace of Small Arms and Light Weapons (SALW). Kyle addressed the following issues in his presentation:
- Effective marking, record-keeping and tracing of SALW.
- Practical steps to ensure the continued and enhanced effectiveness of national marking, record-keeping and tracing of systems.
- Relevant practices in relation to international assistance and capacity building, including ways to support the transfer, uptake and effective utilization of relevant tools and technologies.
